Pyland, age 67, died at the family home Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. after an illness of several months, funeral services were conducted at the home Wednesday morning at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Dickey of Avinger and Rev. Webb of Hughes Springs conducting the services. Interment was in the Pyland Cemetery. Mrs. Pyland was the mother of thirteen children, four boys and nine girls, all of them survive the deceased. Pleasant, Mrs. Boots Wimberly of Smithland, Miss Ola Pyland of Jefferson; twenty-seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Shared note	Obituary: JEFFERSON - Graveside services for Ola Irene Pyland, 86, of Jefferson will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pyland Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Edwards officiating. Arrangements are by G. E. Haggard and Son Funeral Home of Jefferson. Mrs. Pyland died Monday, Aug. 26, 1996 at a Longview hospital. She was born in Marion County on Dec. 11, 1909, to Reps Franklin Pyland and Lillie Frances Reeder Pyland. She was a lifelong Marion County resident and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jefferson. She had been a clerk at Denton Drug Store and later at City Drug Store. Survivors include two sisters, Christine Wimberly of Carthage and Joy George of Marshall; and a number of nieces and nephews, inlcuding Patsy and Ben Thornton of Jefferson.
