Shared note	Obituary: [BOLD:]Martha Pyland[:BOLD] AVINGER - Funeral services for Martha Annie Pyland, 94, of Avinger will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home Chapel, Hughes Springs, with the Rev. Mickey Rorex and the Rev. Dennis Gibbons officiating. Burial will be in Avinger Cemetery. [:TAB:] Ms. Pyland died Sunday, April 23, 1989, in a Lone Star hospital following a lengthy illness. [:TAB:] Born Sept. 4, 1894, in Avinger, she was a member of First Baptist Church. [:TAB:] She is survived by one son, W. D. (Duese) Pyland of Hughes Springs; two daughters, Clifford Landers of Hughes Springs and Carmen Robertson of Sour Lake; two sisters, Hazel Blair of Avinger and Florene Jones of Texarkana; three stepsisters, Lara Felker of Shreveport, Mamie Sue Goodson of Hughes Springs and Irby Berkley of Daingerfield; one stepbrother, Ira Moss of Shreveport; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
