Shared note	RITES HELD FOR UNCLE BUD PYLANT - Funeral rites were held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 for Uncle "Bud" Pylant, 80, who died at a Leachville Hospital Saturday. He was a resident of the Childress community. Services were held at the Macey Methodist Church, with Rev. Eugene Hall, pastor of the Methodist Church at Dell, officiating. Rev. J. O. Miles, pastor of the Childress Baptist Church, assisted. The deceased was a retired farmer, having been a resident of this area for the past 60 years. He was born in Ripley, Tennessee, in the year 1873. He was a member of the Masonic Order. Survivors are his widow, two sons, and one sister, six grandchildren. Sons include: Chauncey, of Childress, and Dr. K. O. Pylant, of Chicago, sister Mrs. Emma Finch of Harbor City, California. Pall bearers were Clyde Gathright, Joe Harrell, Ode Chapman, Jethro Harrell, and Talmadge Harrell. Masonic services were conducted at the church and at the graveside. Interment was in Carwell cemetery with Howard Funeral Service of Leachville in charge of the arrangements. Probate Court of the Eastern District of Craighead County, Arkansas: Leachville, Arkansas Route 3 September 10, 1938 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I George L. Pylant of my own free will and accord make this my last will and testimony while I am in sound body and mind. To my wife Minnie L. Pylant, I give and bequeath all of my personal property at my death, that I have or may acquire in the future. Futhermore, I give and bequeath to her all of my farm land, at my death, that I have or may acquire. It is my wish that my wife Minnie L. Pylant serve as the executrix of my estate, in case of my death, and that she shall serve without bond. To my son Kelsie O. Pylant, I give and bequeath one dollar ($1.00). To my son Charlie E.
