Obit: Jacksonville (Florida) Times-Union, Fri., 7 Nov. 1997: PYLANT - Funeral services for Mrs. Annie D. Pylant, 96, will be held at 10 am Saturday, in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., So., with Rev. Robert R. Yates and Rev. Dan Lawrence officiating. Burial will be at Edgewood Cemetery. Born on May 4, 1901 in Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Pylant died on Tuesday, November 4, 1997 in Milton, FL. She was a member of the Friendship Advent Christian Church. Mrs. Pylant was preceded in death by a son, Ellis Pylant and 3 grandsons. Survivors include 3 daughters, Eleanor Lavender, Betty Edenfield and Margie Gandy; 3 sons, James A., Robert E. and Marion F. Pylant; a sister, Ethel Glass; a brother, Allen Saine; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 9 am Friday at the funeral home and the family will receive friends fornm 7 pm until 9 pm on Friday. |
