Jacksonville (Florida) Times-Union, Sun., 10 Aug 1977. <p>PYLANT - Funeral services for Robert Emory Pylant, Jr., 56, who died, Friday, August 8, 1997, will be held in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home, Monday, August 11, 1997 at 11 AM, with Rev. Richard Hodges and Rev. Walter Hall officiating. Interment in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Sunday from 6-8 PM. Mr. Pylant was a native and lifelong resident of Jacksonville, FL. He was a member of the Oceanway Assembly of God. He was a member of the North Florida Classic Chevy Club. He was retired from the city of Jacksonville as a superintendent. His survivors include: His wife, Luanna L. Pylant; 4 daughters, Rebecca Pylant Stuart (Kim), Karen Pylant, Melissa Pylant, and Teresa Owens; a son, Jeffrey Bowen (Chantal); his parents, Robert E. Pylant, Sr. and Lorene Pylant; a sister, Joan E. Mathis; a brother, Wayne Pylant; his grandmother, Annie Pylant; 3 grandchildren, Kelsy Bowen, Taylor Bowen and Brandon Stuart; numerous nieces and nephews. |
