Obituary:

OZRO PYLANT

 Funeral services for Ozro Pyland, 76, of Winnsboro were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 1992 at the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home in Winnsboro with the Rev. Newton Smith officiating. Burial followed in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. Pylant died Monday, January 13, 1992.  He was a member of the Hill Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife:  Mrs. Alma Pylant of Winnsboro; one son: Gerald Pylant of West Monroe; daughter and son-in-law: Jean and Joe Hatten of Pineville; four brothers: Floyd Pylant of Birmingham, Alabama, George Pylant of Crowville, Raymond Pylant of Wisner and Cecil Pylant of Winnsboro; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. His grandsons served as pallbearers.
