OBITUARY - God visited the home of J. A. Penn, October 28, and took from him his darling wife Lucinda. She was 29 years, 6 months and 8 days old. She leaves a husband, three boys and a little girl, and a host of friends to mourn her loss. Everything was done that loving hands could do to save her but all was in vain. God had room on His beautiful throne for her. She was loved by all who knew her. She was a humble Christian. Bro. Shaver conducted the funeral services. She was laid to rest in the Overby cemetery.
