in the matter of the administration of the Estate of Wiley Piland, decd.

E. F. Hurdle being sworn, doth say:
That Wiley Piland, late of said County, is dead without leaving any last Will and testament and that he is a proper person entitled to letters of Administration on the estate of the said Wiley Piland.
Further, that the value of said estate so far as can be ascertained at the date of this application, is about $300, and that Mary Piland, widow, James Piland of Chowan County, John Piland and Reuben Piland of Gates Co.; Fanny Evans of Camden Co.; Elizabeth Blass of Hertford Co., and J. O. Piland an infant without guardian, of Gates Co., NC are the parties entitled as heirs and distributees thereof.

Upon the foregoing applications and on motion, Letters of Administration on the Estate of Wiley Piland, dec'd, are granted to E. F. Hurdle, upon his entering into Bond in the penalty of #600, with L. L. Smith and B. F. Willey as sureties, and by taking and subscribing the oath required by law.
