I visited the cemetery several times but it was always so overgrown with bushes and vines that I could never find a marker for Andrew. There is a marker for A. H. Pylant at the Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud in Falls County: A. H. Pylant B. Mar 22, 1845 D. Jul 10 1890 2nd Lieut, Company D, 17th Alabama Inf, Confederate States Army. All the information on the marker is correct except the birth and death dates. Also, there is no burial plot for him in the Powers Chapel Cemetery.
