W. H. FIELDEN - William Hurshell (Hutch) Fielden, 73 of Rt. 2, Pocahontas, was dead on arrival at Randolph County Med. Center, Sunday. He was born May 5, 1911 in Randolph County, a son of Mrs. Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hufstedler Fielden and the late Wm. A. Fielden. In addition to his mother who resides in Pocahontas, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Reo Hufstedler Fielden of the home; two sons, Elton Fielden of Rt. 2, Pocahontas and Bill Fielden of St. Charles, Mo.; three daughters, Mrs. Joann Smith of Pocahontas, Mrs. Betty DeVault of El Dorado, and Mrs. Sarah Elkins of Mission Viego (sic), Calif.; a brother, Jeff Fielden of Rt. 2, Pocahontas; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hufstedler of Pocahontas and Mrs. Zeta Allison of Oakley, Kans.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday at Birdell Church of Christ with Stanley Rogers and Ralph Wallis officiating. Burial followed in Old Union Cemetery with McNabb's in charge. Pallbearers were Dave and Jody Elkins, Von Smith, Jim Camp, Terry Redwine and Curt Sparks. |
