Services will be Monday in the Nalley-Pickle Rosewood Chapel here, with Rev. DON LONG of the First Baptist Church of Ackerly officiating, assisted by Rev. JIM MOSLEY of the Oak Street Baptist Church of Colorado City. Burial will be in the Fluvanna Cemetery. Born July 4, 1902 in Bosque County, Mr. Pylant moved to Borden County in 1930 and farmed in that area since that time. He married ALMA LEMONS July 20, 1935 in Sweetwater. Survivors include his widow; two sisters, MAMIE LEMONS of Fluvanna and STELLA KELLY of Van Nuys, California; three brothers, DEE PYLANT of Fluvanna, ORVIE PYLANT of Santa Ana, California, and LOIS PYLANT of Seattle, Washington. Pallbearers will be VERNON SHORTES, LEON BODINE, JIM PERRY, EARL NEWCOMER, HOLLIS KENNEMER, and GENE CATES.
