HERMAN PYLANT
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday in the Lawton Funeral Home chapel for HERMAN PYLANT, 63, of Medicine Park. Pylant, a civil service employee at Fort Sill, died Friday in a local hospital. He had resided in Medicine Park the past six years, coming there from Duncan where he was in the grocery business. Born Oct. 2, 1896 at Auburn, Texas, he was married in 1923 at Bowie, Texas to the former WILLIE SANDERS. She survives him at the home. Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. RAYMOND SLEEKER of Duncan and Mrs. GLEN WHEELER of Seminole; two sons, DALE W. PYLANT of Pampa, Texas and JIMMIE H. PYLANT of Midwest City; a sister Mrs. JAMES V. GRAY of Oklahoma City and ten grandchildren. He was a veteran of World War I.
