Obituary - Pocahontas Star Herald, Pocahontas, Arkansas - 18 Aug 1983: [UND:]Mrs. Ina Leathers [:UND] Mrs. Ina Rachel Leathers, 85, formerly of Rt. 2, Pocahontas, but residing in Rockford, Ill., passed away in Swedish-American Hospital there, Friday. She was born Sept. 29, 1897 in Rogers, a daughter of the late John and Bessie Ruddick Lynch. Her husband, Otis Leathers preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Otis Julian Leathers of Rockford, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Mignon Burtman, also of Rockford, and Mrs. Yvonne Braden of Canton, Ohio; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Cecil Wilson officiating. Burial followed in Chesser Cemetery with NcNabb's in charge. Pallbearers were Rector and Tilden Pace, Todd Braden, Gaylon and Kerry Burtman, and Sherrill Hufstedler. |
