<p> Kenneth J. Sanders, age 65, 3007 E. 133rd St., Hegewisch, Ill., passed away Friday, December 4, at his residence, following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife, Hazel; two daughters, Mrs. Oscar (Betty) Shoeler of Hammond, Mrs. Joseph (Jacqueline) Bugajski of Hegewisch; one son, Peter (Mary) Sanders of Griffith; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Idalene and Dorothy June; two sisters, Mrs. Harry (Ellen) Dragoo of Neodesha, Kansas, Mrs. Herman (Naomi) Stillson of Calumet City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Monday, December 7, 1:30 p.m. from Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Ave., Hessville, Rev. O. P. Etheridge officiating. Burial Maplewood Cemetery, Crown Point. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Mrs. Sanders had been a resident of the Calumet area all his life. He was retired from Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company, where he had worked for 40 years before his retirement. He was a member of the East Chicago Lodge 595, F. & A.M.
