Shared note	Obit: Last Rites For Mrs. Piland <p> Rachel Piland was born Oct. 11, 1858 at Thornfield, Mo. and died Dec. 19, 1943 at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 8 days. She was united in marriage to Wm. H. Piland Feb. 21, 1886. To this union were born 5 children, three of whom died in infancy and a daughter preceded her in death in 1940. She was converted and baptized on her 14th birthday and was a member of the Mt. Lebanon church. Survivors include her husband, one son Raymond, and 6 grand children. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Monday at Thornfield church, conducted by Rev. Sam Daniel. Burial was made in the Thornfield cemetery under the direction of the McClure Funeral Home of Gainesville, Mo.
