Obit; Hobart Democrat Chief, 19 May 1987:
Ila Edwards Reneau, 77, died Saturday at her home in Mountain Park. Services were this afternoon in the First United Methodist Church, Mountain Park, with the Rev. Keent Wood and the Rev. Dennis Zeares officiating.
Mrs. Reneau was born June 13, 1909 at Blair. As a child she moved to Georgia, returning to Oklahoma at the age of 18 after the death of her parents. She made her home with an aunt and uncle, the lake Kate and Henry Lance, Blair.
On Dec 28, 1934 she married Guy Reneau at Hobart. They established a farm home in the Roosevelt community, where they lived until 1959 when they moved to McNeil, Ark where they established a home at Mountain Park.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the Harmony Club.
Survivors include her husband, Guy, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Henryietta Reneau, Mountain Park; one daughter, Shirleta Sasser, Anchorage, Alaska; one sister, Winnie Stubban, Monterey, Calif; one brother, Troy Edwards, St Louis, Mo; and four grandchildren.
Burial in Mountain Park Cemetery was directed by Preston-Leckie Funeral Home, Snyder.
