<p>Ernest Dell Littlefield went to meet our Lord on September 9, 2007 after a struggle with cancer. He was born in Walters, Oklahoma on August 30, 1938. He leaves behind Carolyn, his wife of 49 years and his mother Naomi Francis Littlefield of Lawton, Oklahoma. He is also survived by his son Donald Ray Littlefield aand daughter-in-law Kathy of Spring, Texas; son Bobby Littlefield of Richardson, Texas and Kenneth Charles Littlefield of Corpus Christi, Texas. His grandchildren Krista Littlefield Keller of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Kenneth William Littlefield of Spring, Texas, and Ashley LeeAnn Littlefield of Richardson, Texas will also miss him greatly. He is also survived by his sisters Glenda Watson of Burkburnet, Texas and Urita Bowling and her husband Marshall of Kokomo, Indiana; and his brother Waymon Littlefield and his wife Rita of Lawton, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father Clyde William Littlefield and his sister Gloria Morrow. Ernie, prior to retirement, was an entrepreneur in the furniture business. After working for Texas Giant Furniture Warehouse in Dallas in the late 1960's and early 1970's he started his own business called Sleep King. He later started Century Furniture and a number of other furniture stores in Dallas, Houston and surrounding areas. He had a great love for starting new ventures and often helped others get started in their own businesses. He was extremely generous and delighted in helping the less fortunate. After retirement, he spent countless hours in his front yeard working on various projects.
