Seems that he had a small piece of land near the school house and had gone there to put in a crop. Lizzie was suppose to come up to stay with him, but she decided she would stay in Georgia. He died soon after. He was found by a friend three days after his death. This friend buried him at the Dishman cemetery. Lizzie found out about it several weeks later.
