Shared note	Martin's ancestors were from Holland. HEIRS OF M. SHULTZ TO WM. SHULTZ - Transfer M. Shultz 640 acres - March 20, 1857. THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF PARKER - KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That, We the undersigners heirs of Martin Shultz Deceased for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty-five dollars in hand paid by William Shultz of the state of Texas and County of Dallas the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have this day sold and do by these present grant, bargain, sell and convey all our right, title, claim and interest in and unto the head-right Certificate of Martin Schulz and the lands thereby located for 640 acres issued by the Commissioner for Mercers Colony and I, Sarah T. Shultz for and in consideration of the sum above specified have this day sold all of my Dower in said unto the said head-right certificate and we the undersigned heirs of Martin Shultz do agree to warrant and forever defend the title of the same against the claims of our selves, our heirs or legal assigns and every other person or persons whatever lawfully claiming or to claim the same by through or under us our heirs or assigns. In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals, using scroll for the same this the 20th day of March A. D. 1857. ATTEST: Sarah T. Shults (seal) James Haggard Martin V. Shultz, Martin V. Shultz and Paulina Haggard subscribe and execute the same for the purposes and considerations therein stated. And that he signed the same as a witness at the request of the persons who executed the same. In testimony wheof I have hereunto set my hand and official this the 25th day of April A. D. 1857. E. P.
