Mrs. Winnary Hoggard
Funeral was Monday afternoon from the First Baptist Church for Mrs. Winnary Hoggard, 136 C St. SE, who died Saturday night after an illness. Burial was at Healdton.
Mrs. Hoggard is survived by four daughters, Mrs. W. E. Drake, Lone Grove; Mrs. Sam Green, Elmore City; Mrs. Martin Trimble, Hanford, Calif.; Mrs. Jessie Scarbrough, Fort Worth; two sons, Tom of Fox; John, Leamore, Calif., one brother, a sister, 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Dr. Richard T. Hopper officiated. Committal services were under the direction of Bettes Funeral Home.
Born Jan 24, 1881 in Erath County, Texas, Mrs. Hoggard came here two years ago from Fox. She was the widow of Walter C. Hoggard who died in 1939.
Serving as pallbearers were Cecil Button, Horace Mannahan, Don Drake, Dr. Kenneth P. Martin, Max Hammer and E. C. (Slats) Thompson.

Phillip Jackson Scarbrough, 80, loving father, brother and good friend, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
Memorial service, 7 p.m Wednesday, May 14 at South Fort Worth Baptist Church, 800 W. Fogg Street, 76110.
Phillip was born Sept. 10 1933, in Healdton, Okla., to Leo and Jessie Scarbrough, an oil worker. He retired from AAFES
after 22 years service.
Phillip had lived in Oklahoma, Wyoming, Kansas, California and Texas. His parents were involved in the World War II war effort working in the Navy shipyards in California and Texas.
Phillip graduated from Trimble Tech in 1953. He loved photography, computers, radio, electronics and World War II history. He was a kind and gentle man and spirit.
Survivors: son, John Phillip Scarbrough; and sister Shirley Anne Pylant and husband, Ted.
