Mary was bo… Obit: Mary Ellen Berry Zehr, 53, was called home by our Lord Thursday the Jan. 20, 2011. Mary was born Sept. 11, 1957 in Camp LeJeune, N.C. She was preceded in death by her parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Grover E. Berry. She is survived by her husband Bob; two sons, Jason Allen Zehr and Jeremy Edwin Zehr; daughter-in-law, Brandy Lowe Zehr; special daughter, Heather Marie Winn; granddaughter, Hailey Anne Nicholas; two brothers, William Berry and wife Ammie, Joseph Berry and wife Connie; mother and father-in-law, Dale and Kathy Zehr; sister-in-law, Shawn Takikawa; and brother-in-law, Pat Zehr. She also leaves many cousins, nephews, nieces and many, many "adapted adopted" sons, daughters and grand babies. Mary was a member of Wesley Memorial UMC for close to 50 years, she was a member of the Daniel Moore Sunday school class, Wesley Memorial Characters and Wesley Bowling League. And until a bout with fibromuscular dysplasia left her disabled, a member of the Wesley choir for many years and a member of the New Horizon Gospel Singers. A memorial service will be held for Mary at Wesley Memorial UMC at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
