"Till" Pylant, 75, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel,601 Hwy 80, Haughton, LA; 71037 with Rev. Jeff Story, Rev. Jerry Dean, and Rev. James Glass officiating. Interment will follow in Rose-Neath Cemetery in Bossier City. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, at the Hill Crest Funeral Home. Mr. Pylant entered into rest April 10, 2010 at the Christus Schumpert Grace Home. He was a retired Bus Driver for Continental Trailways and Greyhound Bus Lines with thirty-eight years of service, a resident of the Shreveport-Bossier area for forty-eight years, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of McLeod Tabernacle in McLeod, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie A. Pylant,Sr. and Ollie Jones Pylant; brothers, W.A. Pylant,Jr. ,Hilton Pylant, and Marvin Pylant; and a sister, Armentha Dodd. Survivors include his wife of fifty-one years, Hilda Pylant; two sons, Dewayne Pylant and wife Vicki of Mooringsport, LA; Jeff Pylant and wife Vicki of Shreveport, LA; sister, Willene Hendrix and husband Allen of Epps, LA; two brothers, Eugene Pylant and wife Lexie of Forest, LA; Jimmie Pylant and wife Debbie of Thibodeaux, LA; three granddaughters, Bridgette Black and husband Chris; Brittany Milam and husband Matt; Brianna Wise and husband Chaz; two great grandchildren, Braxton and Addison Wise; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chris Black, Matthew Milam, Chaz Wise, Richard Mann, Glen Mann, and David Houston. Honorary Pallbearers will be Homer Dean, T.L. Patterson, and Dan Wisinger.
