Shared note	obit: S. E. Bowles Services were held for Sophronia Elizabeth (S.E.) Bowles Frebuary 11th at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Grandview with the Rev. Stephen Hatfield officiating. Burial was in Grandview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Bowles, David Tackert, Churck McGowen, Joe Wilson, Ed Bruce, and T.J. McFerrin. S.E. died Feb. 9th in her home after a short illness. S.E. was born Nov. 3, 1903 east of Grandview. She was the daughter of Charlie B. Abshire and Effie Pylant Abshire. She had lived her entire life in the Grandview Community. S.E. was married to Irwin Bowles in 1926. He preceded her in death in 1964. Survivors are one sister, Fay Talbert of Grandview, one brother, C. B. Abshire of Grandview, five nieces and one nephew.
