Obit: THE PARIS NEWS Fri., Nov. 21, 1986. 'Longview - Roy Harvey, 86, of Longview died Friday, Nov. 21, at his home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in White Oak with the Rev. Lindsey Burns officiating. Rater Funeral Home will make burial in Milton Cemetery near Deport at approximately 1 p.m. Mr. Harvey was born March 20, 1900, in Lamar County. He had lived in Longview since 1931 and was a retired refinery worker for Atlantic Richfield Oil Co. Surviving are his wife, Elsie; two stepsons, Charles Vaughn of Tempe, AZ and James Vaughn of Longview; four sisters, Mary Lawler of Deport, Mattilu Upchurch of Deport, Evelyn Thompson of Vernon and Bobbie Kelley of San Jose, CA; and a number of nieces and nephews.' *Information from Mattylu Upchurch, Rt. 1 Box 83, Deport, TX 75435: Married first to Alice Shilling.
