Funeral services for Vennis "Opal" Traylor, age 81, of Kilbourne, Louisiana will be 10:00AM, Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Kilbourne with Truman Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Kilbourne Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from 4:00PM - 9:00PM at Cox Funeral Home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Thomas Traylor; son, Dennis Traylor; parents, Franklin Miles Green and Annie Mable Pylant Green; brother, Marion Green; sister, Frankie Humphrey.

Opal is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary Traylor and Elois Traylor of Kilbourne, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Reese Traylor and Teressa Traylor of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Lori Traylor Grimes of West Monroe, Louisiana; 6 grandchildren, Kristen Simpson, Kasee Forman, Karla Kirby, Grant Traylor, Amber Grimes, and Aimee Grimes; 6 great-grandchildren, Drake Ward, Madeline Ward, Celeste Ward, Hunter Ward, Lily Kirby, and Zack Forman; 4 brother and sisters-in-law, Harvey Green and Mary Green of Louisville, Kentucky, Bobby Green and Mary Ann Green of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Nelson Green and Astrid Green of Las Vegas, Nevada, Danny Green of Kilbourne, Louisiana; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Clovis Mabry and husband Joe of Eudora, Arkansas, Melba Harrell and Eugie Harrell of Eudora, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews.
