Obituary: (Tallahassee Democrat, Sunday, August 28, 1994) Betty Culley, 75, of Tallahassee died Saturday in Tallahassee. The service will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park in Tallahassee. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1204 Miccosukee Road, Tallahassee 32308 or Big Bend Hospice, 1982 Capital Circle NE, Tallahassee 32308. A lifelong resident of Tallahassee, she was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. She is survived by a son, Walter V. Culley II of Tallahassee; a daughter, Charlotte Culley Chuites of Tallahassee; her mother, Maymie Pyant Gatlin of Tallahassee; two sisters, Cecil Keith of Grossee Pointe Park, Mich., and Mary Charles Leverett of Valdosta, Ga.; sic grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
