Obit; The Daily Ardmoreite, 6 Sep 1999: Graveside rites for Faye 'Aumpie' Bergman, 87, were scheduled at 10 a.m. today at McAlister Cemetery with the Rev. Terry Tolbert officiating. Born March 11, 1912 at Ardmore to Henry Clay and Lenora Elizabeth Whitson Grounds, she died Sept. 4, 1999 at a local health care facility. She married Frank Bergman in 1931 at Ardmore. He preceded her in death July 24, 1963. She was also preceded in death by four brothers; Otto, Loyd, Oren and Roy; and a sister, Sybil. Mrs. Bergman lived in the Ardmore area all of her life. She and Frank worked and lived on the Stewart Hare Dairy in Springer for a number of years. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her sister; Floyce Vladyka, Ardmore, Bea Tober, Ardmore; one brother, Doug Grounds, Lone Grove, numberous nieces, nephews, greatnieces, greatnephews, great-great-nieces and great-great nephews. Bearers are John Lynch, Gary Lynch, Stevie Vladyka, Jason Sharpe, Aaron Sharpe, Tarl Plank and Hyman Sharpe.
