Shared note	obit: Katherine Pylant Katherine Pylant, 79, of Pulaski, TN, died Friday, February 20, 2009, at Pulaski NHC. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 22, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Pulaski with Bro. Doug Plumlee and John Haskew officiating. Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery with Carr & Erwin Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Pylant was the daughter of the late Albert and Ella Mae Hewitt Hollingsworth. She was a retired secretary at Maremont Corporation. Survivors include her husband, Wendell Pylant of Pulaski; son, Kent Pylant and wife Dawn of Dacula, GA; daughters, Vickie Thompson and husband Joey of Elkmont, AL, Karen Davis and husband Larry of Canton, GA; brother, Kelsey Hewitt of Mississippi; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or the American Diabetes Association at 4205 Hillsboro Road, Suite 200, Nashville, TN 37215.
