Obit: FLUVANNA,TX- Services for Alma Ophelia Pylant, 92, of Colorado City, formerly of Snyder, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fluvanna Baptist Church with the Rev. Cecil Foster officiating. Burial will be in Fluvanna Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home of Snyder. She died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001. She was born Oct. 20, 1909, in Wingate and married J.F. Pylant on July 20, 1935, in Sweetwater. He died Feb. 20, 1976. She farmed and ranched while living in Ackerly. She moved to Snyder in 1977 and was a Baptist. A son, Jessie Don, died in 1937. Survivors include a brother, Bob Lemons of Midland.
