Obituary: Houston Post, Houston, Texas, April 6, 1983: Mrs. Belva Pylant, 73, died Tuesday, April 5, 1983 at her residence. Mrs. Pylant had been a Houston resident for 33 years and was a member of Christian Temple Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Glenna D. Code and Sue Kreig. Survivors: husband, Ernest Pylant, Houston; daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Pat Hughes, LaPorte, Jean and Dale Wortham, Pasadena, Judy and Don Williams, South Houston, Gloria and Reggie Clowes, California, Pat and Tom Reynolds, San Antonio, Ernestine Robbins, California; sons and daughters-in-law, Mack and Mary Love, Houston, Bob and Pat Pylant, Kentucky, Wendell Pylant, California, Wyman and Katherine Pylant, Monterrey, Mexico; brother, Charlie D. Walker, Houston; 29 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 7, 1983, Christian Temple Assembly of God, 9701 Almeda Genoa Road, with Rev. O. C. Bates and Rev. Worth Williams officiating. Interment South Memorial Park. Mrs. Pylant's grandsons will serve as pallbearers. |
