[BOLD:]Kenneth Dean "Ken" Pylant, II[:BOLD]
Funeral service for Kenneth Dean "Ken" Pylant, II, 54, of Auburn is Friday, September 9, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at South College Church of Christ. Burial is in Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday at 6 – 8 p.m. at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home.
Mr. Pylant, who died Monday, September 5, 2005, at Jackson Hospital, was born December 10, 1950, in Orlando, FL.
Mr. Pylant had been a resident of Auburn since 1970. He was a graduate of Auburn University, and was employed prior to retirement as Director of Information Systems for the University. Following retirement, Ken worked with his wife at All Creatures Veterinary Clinic in Auburn. Ken was very devoted to his children.
He is survived by his wife, Dr. Kim Bond-Pylant of Auburn; parents, Kenneth Dean and Faye Pylant of Columbus, GA; a daughter, Kimberly Kate Bond of Auburn; seven sons, Ken Pylant, III, Adam Carl Pylant, Blake McMichael Pylant, Wil Sharman-Ables Pylant, Arthur G. Bond, Jr., Daniel Dean Bond and Andrew Kipper Bond all of Auburn and a sister, Brenda Mekas of Raleigh, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital Memphis, TN. 38105.
