Obit: W. H. PILANT, 87, DIES, CLIFTON SERVICES SET TODAY W. H. Pilant, 87, formerly of Clifton (Texas), died Saturday morning in a Waco hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Clifton Funeral Home. Rev. Fred Binkley officiating with burial in Clifton Cemetery. Mr. Pilant had been living at 2108 Lafayette Circle in Waco with his daughter, Mrs. W. H. Andrews, since 1940. He was a native of Arkansas and came to Clifton at an early age. He lived here until he moved to Waco. Survivors include three sons, Kermit Pilant of 209 Stanfield Drive, Waco; Jewel Pilant and Earl Pilant, both of Clifton; one daughter, Mrs. Andrews, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hart and Mrs. Houston Railey, both of Valley Mills.
