In the name of God Amen I George Pyland of Claremont County sumter District and State of South Carolina being weak in Body yet of sound and perfect understanding and memory, do constitute this My Last Will and Testament and devise it to be Received by all as Such - imprimis,

I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Sharplin one Feather Bed and furniture one Cow and Calf one Bay mare Cold Poll Blond i give the same to her her heirs and assigns forever.

item, I give and bequeath to my Son Isham Pyland one hundred Acres Land More or less Whereon he now Resides one bed and furniture Cow and Calf and one Bay horse Named Dimond. I give the same to him his heirs and assigns forever -

item I give and bequeath to My Daughter Sarah Glover one bed and furniture one Cow and Calf and fifty Acres land Lying on the North Side Mains Branch to be laid out from Diggs upper Corner Next Davis Collins land Running Down Said Branch until she gets fifty Acres Said land will Also Join Henry Jones Land, -

item I give and bequeath unto My son Edward Pyland one Hundred Acres land lying on North Side Mains Branch Adjoining land Whereon He now Lives formily granted to Joseph Ferguson also one bed and furniture one Cow and Calf and one Dark Sorrel Gelding Col.d Dolphin. I give the Same to him his heirs and Assigns forever -

item I give and bequeath to My grandsons James Pyland and Ransom Pyland one hundred and Eight Acres land Wheron My Son Edward Pyland now Lives and should Either Die without heirs the one Living to have the hole and should Each die without issue the above land to be Equally Divided among their Brothers and Sisters.

My Desire is that My Son Edward Pyland and his Wife May Live on Said During their Natural Lives But should they think proper to Move off the Land then the above nam.d grandson May take posession of the Same -

item I give and bequeath unto My Daughter Barshaba Trimnal one Bed and furniture and one Cow and Calf I give the same to her and her assigns forever -

Item I give and bequeath unto My Son George Pyland one feather Bed and furniture one Cow and Calf one horse Cald Lightfoot and one half of a tract of Land Granted to Myself for three Hundred acres and belongs to the same tract that I willd fifty acres from to my Daughter Sarah Glover - I give the same to him and his heirs forever -

Item I give and bequeath unto My Grandson John Pyland one Cow and Calf one Feather Bed and furniture and horse Cald Snip also one half of the three hundred Acres granted to myself after My Daughter Sarah Glover takes her fifty Acres Say the Balance to be Divided between my son George and grandson John Pyland, the Said John Pyland to have and to hold the part Whereon I now live With all the Houses and appertainces thereto I give the Same to him and his heirs and assigns forever -

Item My Will and Desire is that My Stock of all kinds be sold with my ____ and China, furniture and the money arising therefrom to be Divided between ____ Ann White and Barshaba Trimnal.

My will and Desire is that the three Cattle lent to Some of My Children be Returned and the same to go as I have willed My other Stock -
I do hereby appoint Constitute and make and ordain My Friend Col John Moore and John Pyland Executors to this My Last Will and Testament and I hereby utterly Disallow and Revoke and Disannul all other former Wills Legacies and Executors and Confirm this to be My Last Will and Testament in Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this the 25th Day September Eighteen hundred and Twelve.

GEORGE THE THIRD by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, Ireland, KING, Defender of the Faith, and so forth, TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESNT SHALL COME GREETING: kNOW YE, THAT WE of our special Grace, certain Knowledge and mere Motion, have given and granted, and by these Presents, for us our heir and successours, DO GIVE and GRANT unto George Pyeland his heirs and assigns, a plantation or tract of land containing Three hundred Acres Situate in Fredericksburgh Township, bounded South East by John Ferguson's land, and Vacant, all other Sides by Vacant Land And hath such shape, form and marks, as appear by a plat thereof, hereunto annexed: Together with all woods, under woods, timber and timber trees, lakes, ponds, fishings, waters, watercourses, profits, commodities, appurtenances and hereditaments whatsoever, thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining: Together with privilege of hunting, hawking and fowling in and upon the same, and all mines and minerals whatsoever, saving and reserving, nevertheless, to us, our heirs and sucessours all white pine trees, if any there should be found growing thereon; and also saving and reserving, nevertheless, to us, our heirs and successours, one tenth-part of mines of gold and silver only: TO HAVE AND TO HOLD, the said tract of Three hundred acres of land and all and singular other the premises herby granted the said George Pyeland his heirs and assigns for ever, yielding and paying therefor unto us, our heirs and successours, or to our Receiver-General for the time being, yearly, that is to say, on the twenty-fifth day of March, in every year at the rate of three shillings sterling, or four shillings proclamation money, for every hundred acres, and so in proportion, according to the number of acres, contained herein; the same to commence at the expiration of Two years from the date hereof. Provided always, and this present Grant is upon condition, nevertheless, that the said George Pyeland his heirs or assigns, shall and do, yearly, and every year, at the rate of Three shillings for ever hundred acres of land, and so in proportion, according to the number of acres herein contained, or if a minute or docket of these our letters patent, shall not be entered in the office of our Auditor-General for the time being, in our said province, within Six months from the date hereof, that then and in any of these cases, this present Grant shall cease, and determine and be utterly void; and the said lands, tenements, and hereditament's hereby granted, and every part and parcel thereof, shall revert to us, our heirs and successours, as full and absolutely, as if the same had never been granted.
